Now that the PSMA Administrative boundaries are out as well as the ABS boundaries - it would be great if you could search data.gov.au by the boundary the data is aggregated to.
e.g. I want to search for locality level datasets; or I want to search for local government level datasets
Australia Post has strict licensing on it's data products, including the Postal Address File (the authoritative list of postal addresses in Australia) and the official postcode/locality list. Recently they have tightened the licencing on their data which will no doubt lead to less individuals and businesses using it and hence more poor decisions about peoples locations and their addresses will be made. There is no health data available with any granularity below state or region level.
This means that key insights on health statistics, that can only be gained by geo-visualisation, are being lost - greatly limiting our understanding of localised health issues.
